Beginning in Edinburgh, day one is spent in Scotland’s Capital City. Visit the majestic Edinburgh Castle before following in the footsteps of Royalty strolling down the Royal Mile. Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of the Old & New Town or take in some of the city’s famous landmarks and museums.

Destined for the Highlands, your driver will collect you from your accommodation before heading North, crossing the world famous Forth Bridges en-route to Dunkeld. A walk at the Hermitage before a visit to the House of Bruar breaks the journey before travelling through the Cairngorm National Park on the way to Inverness. A visit to Battlefield of Culloden Moor to see where the last battle to occur on British Soil took place rounds the day off before your evenings accommodation in Inverness.

This morning is spent exploring Loch Ness. Beginning with a boat tour to explore the ruins of Urquhart Castle and the surrounding area the cruise concludes at the Loch Ness Exhibition Centre. Journeying South, take in the town of Fort William, gateway to Scotland’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis. The route continues, taking in the Glenfinnan Viaduct, made famous from the Harry Potter movies, before meandering through Glen Coe, Scotland’s most famous valley. The day concludes in Oban, the Seafood Capital of Scotland.

The final full day of the itinerary, today’s route takes you to Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park. Explore the ancient stone cottages in the village of Luss overlooking the banks of Loch Lomond before continuing East towards Stirling. Take in Doune Castle, featured in Outlander and Monty Python & the Holy Grail, before visiting the Battle of Bannockburn Experience before taking in the National Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle. The trip rounds off with a farewell dinner in Edinburgh.
