Go2Elite Sporting Events are delighted to announce our inaugural Go2Elite Challenger Cup Pairs Tournament.

Team up with a partner and participate in a guaranteed four rounds of golf for your chance to win an expenses paid trip to Spain to participate in the Challenger Cup Grand Final.

The Competition

The Qualifiers

The Go2Elite Challenger Cup is designed to offer amateur golfers the opportunity to compete in a professional style competition.

  • Competition commences: April 2023
  • Open to a maximum field of 160 players
  • Designed to work around you – competition rounds can be completed across your choice of four dates at each venue, allowing our participants the flexibility to complete their rounds at their convenience

The Semi-Final

The best two team Stableford scores at each venue automatically earn their place at the 18-hole semi-final event with the remaining eight places going to the four teams with the highest combined Stableford scores from all four qualifying events. The top four teams following the semi-final will progress to the Grand Final

The Grand Final

Taking place at the multi-award winning La Cala Resort in Spain, the 36-hole Grand Final takes place over two days with the victorious pair winning the chance to fulfil their dream golfing experience with £1400.00 of Holiday Vouchers (to the value of £700.00 per person).

Monifieth Golf Links - Medal Course

The Medal course was used as a qualifying venue for the Seniors Open Championship in 2016 and is widely recognised as an excellent example of an east coast Championship links course.

Drumoig Golf Course

On the outskirts of St. Andrews lies one of the best inland venues in the region. The 18 hole championship style, Par 73 golf course offers many challenging features with quite possibly the best turn in Scottish golf, holes nine, ten and eleven.

Strathmore Golf Centre - Rannaleroch Course

Set in undulating parkland with hundreds of mature trees, the Rannaleroch Course, the par 72, Rannaleroch course has generous fairways, rolling greens and is a challenge to good golfers while forgiving for the higher handicappers.

Murrayshall Country Estate - Murrayshall Course

The Murrayshall championship course is an idyllic American style 18-hole parkland layout that meanders its way around the countryside estate through large trees, offering golfers the perfect combination of an enthralling layout, impeccable course conditions and stunning panoramic views.

Rosemount Course

The Rosemount Course, venue of Greg Norman’s first European tour victory. Designed by Dr Alister MacKenzie, the renowned architect of the Augusta National course, and later extended by James Braid, Rosemount is regarded as one of Scotland’s top inland courses and is a regular feature in the UK’s Top 100 rankings.

The Grand Final

La Cala Golf Resort, Costa del Sol, Spain

Grand Final Dates:
Thursday 31st August – Sunday 3rd September 2023 inclusive.

Situated in the foothills of the Sierra de Mijas with breath-taking views of the Andalusian countryside and distant Mediterranean, La Cala Resort is a golfing mecca only 30 minutes from Malaga Airport.

Three championship courses, designed by world-renowned architect Cabell B. Robinson, provide an exhilarating challenge while the four-star 107-room hotel is the perfect place to stay between rounds.

Campo America Course

Formerly the North Course, Campo America is enhanced by spectacular views to the Sierra de Ojén and Mediterranean Sea. It’s wide, linked fairways and relatively few bunkers make this a slightly easier driving course, though the hilly topography requires a lot of carry across steep brush-covered side slopes. while the small, raised greens demands more precise club selection to hit the mark.

Campo Asia Course

Formerly the South Course, the spectacular Campo Asia has plenty of challenging holes, guaranteeing a testing round of golf which puts a premium on the approach shot. The oldest of La Cala’s three courses and the one most respected by the professionals, it is narrow and short, with four par 5 holes demanding skill and strategy.

Campo Europa Course

A dramatic course with generous fairways, flatter terrain and slightly larger greens than Campo America and Asia. Notable for one main bridge and four smaller bridges across the River Ojén, which features in eight holes, cutting across three fairways.
