Players should submit their preferred date of play for each qualifying round at the time of booking. Dates can be transferred (subject to availability) on request. Date of play preferences will be dealt with on a first come first served basis.
Tee times for qualifying will be released for booking 14 days prior to the date of play. Players should ensure that they are available on the date(s) of the Semi-Final and Grand Final before completing their application.
Tee times for the semi-final and Grand Final will be drawn and allocated by Go2Elite Sporting Events. Round 2 of the Grand Final will be drawn, in reverse order, based on the combined score from round 1.
Yes you can – we will pair you up with a second player for the duration of the tournament. It is each teams responsibility to ensure that they are available to participate in each qualifying round on a mutually agreed date.
Yes, it is possible to play in a group with your friends. Please advise us at the time of booking.
The competition is open to Junior Golfers who are aged 14 & over and hold an official WHS index. Juniors must be accompanied by an adult.
To qualify for prizes, competitors must hold an official WHS Index which will be combined with your partner to determine your playing handicap for the competition. Players not in possession of a WHS Index can still participate in the event and will be eligible for prizes for on course competitions i.e. Longest Drive/Nearest the Pin only.
All golfers are required to provide their CDH Number at time of registration. Your playing handicap will be determined by your handicap index at the time of each competition round. In the interest of fairness and to ensure we provide a level playing field for all competitors, we reserve the right to investigate any scores deemed unexpected or exceptional. This process may involve direct consultation with your home clubs handicap secretary.
It is the responsibility of each individual competitor to maintain the expected pace of play during each round at each venue. When deemed to be not scoring on a hole, players are required to pick their ball up and not complete the hole. Penalties may be imposed upon teams having a detrimental effect on the pace of play.
Upon conclusion of all qualifying rounds at each venue, the leading two teams (per venue) will automatically qualify for the Semi-Final event. Should teams already qualified for the semi-final be leading at another venue following the qualifying rounds, semi-final places will be allocated to the highest scoring unqualified team.
Upon completion of all qualifying rounds, an additional Four teams will qualify for the semi-final. These qualifying teams will be the teams with highest combined score from all qualifying rounds that have not yet qualified for the semi-final.
There will be Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin Competitions at each venue.
Yes – your Tournament entry fee includes catering before your round at each venue.
No there is no handicap limit for the event.
Return flights, three nights bed & breakfast in a luxury Golf Resort with 3 rounds of golf and airport transfers.
In the event a Golf Course is closed for play or shortened due to bad weather on your selected date we will endeavour to rearrange your round to an alternative date.
In the event of a tie at the conclusion of the final round of the Grand Final, a count back system will be used to determine the winner. The winning team will be the team with the best combined score for the back 9 holes on the scorecard. If the tie is still not resolved, the count-back will continue to include the last 6 holes on the front nine of the scorecard with 3 holes and 1 hole scores included if required.
The event will include live scoring with scores submitted through a dedicated app whilst playing. Further details of this will be issued prior to each event. Teams will also be issued with a scorecard to be completed and counter-signed during their rounds that should be submitted to the Tournament Administrator at the conclusion of play.
